A Note from Us:
We are so happy to get back into the groove of school again! Your scholar is reviewing rules and procedures, focusing on important Reading and Math skills, and building critical thinking and problem solving skills as they navigate through 3rd grade. This is such an important transition year, and communication between the school and home is vitally important to ensure every student's success. Encouraging your child to read at least 15 minutes each night and practice the math skills sent home to reinforce skills learned at school are just 2 ways to help him or her be successful. Students will be tested each week to measure progress and identify areas of strength, as well as areas for focus and review. Please also remember to review your scholar's behavior sheet in his or her Take Home Folder to review choices made that day. Thank you for all of your support at home to ensure your child’s success! Please contact us if you have any questions. Sincerely, The Third Grade Team 936-653-1152 |
